| JW Marriott / Motorized Work Platform |
ASI Limited for installation on the the JW Marriott has utilized apart of the installation a motorized work platform. This innovative device has three platforms spanning 106 feet from end to end stretching across the shear-wall on the west side of the building. It will even be able to reach the roof of the building which is 1,079 feet high. ASI will be utilizing this motorized platform by loading their units onto the platform through small window openings every floor in the shear-wall. They will then continue to set the units across the wall from the platform. The Mobile platform is made by FRACO and is being supplied to ASI by Goedecke.
ASI Limited was selected to design and engineer 300,000 square feet of custom unitized curtainwall for The JW Marriott, soon to be the 7th tallest building in Indianapolis. Please stay tuned for photos utilizing the Mobile platform.
