| Rush University Replacement Hospital |

ASILIMITED has been awarded the design assist for this massive replacement hospital project. Exterior facade scope is over 366,000 SF of custom unitized systems with composite panels and Kalzip perforated walls. Key suppliers will be Viracon and Sobotec. RUMC is a planned 15-story hospital in Chicago, IL. The planned 290 foot tall structure is projected to cost $690 million. Architect is Perkins+Will and CM is Power/Jacobs-JV. 2/12/09- The Bed Tower and Podium Mock up testing has completed which included – wind load structural tests, both static and dynamic water tests, and thermal analysis testing. Full production of the project is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks at the ASI Limited manufacturing facility in Whitestown, IN. 5/2/09 - Phase 1 & 2 shop drawings have been submitted for approval. Production will begin in the coming weeks ahead with anticipated start in the field during the 4th quarter. 9/4/09 - Materials procurement underway as the superstructure is being erected. Currently ahead of schedule. ASILIMITED has begun fabrication , with scheduled start date of early October 2009. 1/26/10 - Unit installation is underway as the superstructure is being completed, units are setting on the 10th floor finishing the NW radius working counter clockwise. In addition units are being set on the South elevation inside radius working counter clockwise towards the East. 3-22-10 Update: ASI is currently working on setting window wall units in the Bed Tower on the west and south elevation of the 12th floor. Setting window wall units have been completed on Floors 10, 11, and the 12th floor of the north elevation. In addition units are being set on the South elevation inside radius working counter clockwise towards the East. 4-23-10 Update: Bed tower main installation units have completed and North elevation ambulance bay units for the 3rd flr are underway. Next installation starting in weeks ahead - louvers and rainscreen panels. 5-17-10 Update: Completed setting WW units in the Bed Tower (floors 10-14) and are currently finishing setting CW on the 1st floor North side by the ambulance bay. AVB and rain screen panel installation are underway on the south elevation of the Podium (floors 1-8). 6-18-10 ASI is currently completing the AVB work on the east, north and west elevations and starting to install rainscreen panel work on the west and south elevations of the Podium. Installation of the Bed Tower rainscreen panel work will commence within the next few weeks. 7-29-10 Building Enclosure was completed in just over six months, and once the elevator hoists are removed in the fall, the remainder of the curtain wall and windows will be installed over 2000 total units.
