| North Carolina Genome Science Project |

ASI LIMITED has been awarded the University of North Carolina Genome Science - Bell Tower Project. This unique and exciting project on the Campus of Univerisity of Norh Carolina-Chapel Hill will consist of 145,000 SF of unitized CW, panels, and skylights. Work is scheduled to begin mid 2010 and be enclosed by end of year. The contractor is Bovis-Lend Lease and the architect is SOM Chicago. 1/20/10- ASI Limited is currently erecting and testing the mock up systems for the UNC Bell Tower Project. This is being conducted at Construction Research Labs in Miami, FL, which will consist of the following; air, water, static, and thermal testing. 2-26-10 Update: ASI Limited has completed and passed all mock up system testing of the Jacket and Corridor walls for the UNC Bell Tower Project. This was conducted at Construction Research Labs in Miami, FL, consisting of the following; air, water, static, and thermal testing. Greenhouse system testing is currently underway and anticipated for completion in the coming weeks. 4-2-10 Update: Fabrication of anchors is under way and will be on site in next few weeks for installation. ASI Limited has completed and passed all mock up system testing of the Jacket and Corridor walls for the UNC Bell Tower Project. This was conducted at Construction Research Labs in Miami, FL, consisting of the following; air, water, static, and thermal testing. 6-20-10 Update: Structure construction is well underway on site as ASI prepares for curtain wall installation to begin. Currently manufacturing unitized curtainwall on the south elevation of Pod C. Unit installation is scheduled to begin end of August, with an overall completion in April of 2011. 7-29-10 Anchor installation is in progress with unit installation to begin the end of August. 8-4-10 Update: ASI Limited is currently completing the unit installation of Pod C East Lab Wall. Following this installation will begin on the Pod C South Jacket Wall. Please stay tuned for further updates as this project develops. |
